Last week was a busy one! This one is starting out even crazier than last, and there is no more space on my calendar for next week....
Needlesss to say I had my OB appointment last Thursday and I love my doctor so much and after all these years and such a great relationship I consider her a friend. We had a very good conversation during my exam and through the years she has shared bits of her life with me. This time she was telling me about how she is the one who goes to work and her husband is a stay at home Dad. She was telling me how "afraid" she was that the next day she would be home "alone" with all three boys and had to do the entire routine for the day without her husband! I was floored. She told me she'd rather work a 90 hour week than have to stay home, it's just not for her, but the time that she does spend with them is incredible. She said after her second son was born she stayed home for all of three weeks and then it was decided that she was not cut out to be home. She said she couldn't do what I do. I look up to HER!! She looks up to me??? WOW!
Friday the girls had their well visits, it was the first time all three of them were getting examined for hte first time not being sick. I knew I was in for it. Needlesss to say Dr. walks in and calls me Super Mom! I said what are you talking about, you have three boys, she replied, "And, I NEVER go anywhere with them alone!"
I could not believe that in 24 hours two doctors, two incredible women in my eyes thought that I was incredible. I am still in shock. I see myself as exhausted, out of control and unorganized. It's incredible to look at yourself through someone else's eyes and be respected by such amazing women!!

Maybe I'm just a big old sap, but this post brought a tear to my eye. Well done, mama.
You ARE super Mom!
Thanks girls! To me you are all Super Moms! It just took me back to hear it from two women I really admire, it's amazing how differently people see us compared to how we see or perceive ourselves!
